COMP SOCIETY AUGThe Executive Committee of the Computer Society of Kenya (CSK) is pleased to inform you that this year’s Kenya ICT Excellence Awards will be held on Tuesday October 09th October, 2018 at the Radisson Blue Hotel, Nairobi. The aim of the awards is to formally and publicly recognize companies and individuals who have excelled in various categories in the field of Information and Communications Technology in Kenya and the region during the previous 12 months. The event is unique when compared with other award ceremonies because we do not incorporate multiple nominees, last-minute suspense or disappointed contestants who see their competitors walk off with the accolades. Rather this event is a celebration of winners only. The event is a high-level gala that yearly attracts the patronage of Government and business leaders. We will invite a high-ranking chief guest to officiate. We expect over 400 senior guests to attend the event and wide-ranging press and media coverage.

Each participating company will be allocated a minimum of 1 table that can sit 10 guests. The company may allocate the seats to its staff, customers or even potential customers.

Recognition at the awards is an indicator that the recipient of the award has performed at the highest level in their category, and can be considered as the best in offering those services or products in the country.

Procedure for participation:

The CSK will consult with prospective companies, such as yours, and individuals who are candidates for the recognition. Part of the consultation process involves agreement on the exact titling of the category to be awarded; as the ICT landscape changes rapidly from year to year we cannot automatically roll-over the categories from the previous year(s). Consultation is an integral and critical exercise that ensures that the award is relevant and that it meets a value-addition for the recipient.

Companies to be recognized will pay a participation fee of Kshs. 200,000/= only which will cover the cost of a table for ten guests, full-page colour advertisement plus a company write-up in the event souvenir program, Branding in the hall (banners), engraved commemorative trophy, commemorative certificate, and administrative charges. The fee will however not include the post-event newspaper supplement which will be run by individual news outlets. The participation fee should be paid latest by Friday 05th October, 2018 to facilitate good planning.

As a first step in participating you should fill in the below form indicating your particulars and the Award Category in which you wish to be considered. We will follow this up with you.
